About Montana Venture Law
MTVL is a law practice founded in 2000 by Tom Wells who has over
fourteen years of experience in the practice areas of corporations,
securities, contracts, licensing and mergers and acquisitions.
MTVL is designed to work closely with each business venture to
provide it with legal advice as it grows. Mr. Wells holds an MBA
degree and has entrepreneurial experience having worked extensively
in the business world in several companies which he has founded.
This experience provides him with extensive knowledge of the needs
and challenges of growing business ventures
By working closely with the founders and executives of ventures
in order to create legal strategy, the venture can be proactive
and shape its future instead of merely responding to events. MTVL
is able and willing to work in teams of skilled professionals
either from within or consulting to the company in order to coordinate
legal strategy with finance, marketing, accounting and other key
business disciplines. MTVL can also help companies identify managers
and consultants who will contribute to the venture as it grows.
Nonprofit companies are a vibrant part of Montanas business ventures.
Mr. Wells has extensive experience working with nonprofits and
assisting them in obtaining tax-exempt status.
